Riviera Beach, FL (April 12, 2013) – Sharon Rinehimer, RGF’s Vice President, accepted the award on behalf of the company at the Florida Chamber of Commerce’s 2013 International Days in Tallahassee last week.
Business leaders from across the globe convened to strategize on how to promote and expand international business in Florida and hear from experts and elected officials. Tom Donohue, the President and CEO of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, spoke at International Days on how Florida’s economy can grow through international trade. Donohue supported the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) which he said will lead to more growth. Governor Rick Scott, who also spoke to International Days delegates about the importance of international trade to Florida’s economy, presented the awards to RGF Environmental Group, Inc. and five other Florida manufacturers who have excelled in their export businesses over the past two years. The delegates and award recipients were invited to and attended a cocktail party at the governor’s mansion after the conference.
